Cheese & Wine Tasting - Friday 2 February 2024

Our famous cosy, engaging cheese and wine night, where Gareth leads you on a tasting journey of five courses of cheese and wine. Often exploring rare and very short run cheeses and all paired with exceptional wines from across the globe.

There will be award-winners galore! Expect the unusual, the wonderful, and a fun evening with the finest cheeses – right in the heart of SE25.

The event starts at 7pm and lasts approximately 1.5 hours. After which you are welcome to stay and have a drink with us until we close (last orders are 10pm)

FAQs

Should I eat beforehand?
We'd never tell you what to eat or not, but the feedback we get is that there's more than enough cheese to substitute for an evening meal. We always lean on giving you more cheese, not less, and we offer doggy bags in case you can't finish it all.

I don't/can't drink alcohol, can I still come?
Absolutely! We will devise a pairing for you, but please do let us know at the time of booking so that we can make it as good as possible

I'm vegetarian, is the tasting okay for me?
If you require vegetarian rennet cheeses, please let us know at the time of booking. We can accomodate this, but just need to make sure all our pairings work for vegetarian-renneted cheeses. There is no meat in the tasting whatsoever.

I'm pregnant, can I still come?
Absolutely! We will devise a pairing for you, but please do let us know at the time of booking so that we can make it as good as possible. This will involve us chatting to you about your specific requirements based on conversations with your GP

I can't eat cow's milk cheeses, can you accomodate that??
We certainly can! Please let us know at the time of booking.

Is the tasting dog friendly?
We always welcome well behaved dogs at Little Mouse but the tastings are compact with little room for animals so we would politely request that you leave your dog at home if at all possible. If you do need to bring a dog, please let us know at the time of booking so that we can ensure we can cater for any allergy sufferers.

Are your crackers gluten free?
They are not, but we can provide gluten free crackers if you let us know in advance. Please tell us at the time of booking.

I can't make it, can I cancel?
Due to our limited space, we can't refund tickets when cancelled within 14 days of the event. Cancellations up to 7 days from the event can be exchanged for a future event credit. Cancellations within 7 days of the event (or no shows) are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another person. We will endeavour to sell your ticket (and will refund you if we manage to do so). Please give us as much notice as possible.
